Weekly newsletter #75
The best of what I've read this week, about operations, training and education, communication, and more
Hello!
Happy first day of July, and welcome to the second half of 2024!
I finished the final RevOpsAF conference blog which you can read here.
This week, I’ll be starting to release some book content from the process strategy & documentation chapter in a few blogs, since that topic overlaps with my other efforts and is less pressure than finishing the first chapters that talk about the book thesis. Some form of draft release that is more public than the book newsletter will hopefully give me some momentum and feedback to continue working on it and improve it, while sharing insights that hopefully help people! :)
Onto the resources!
Thanks to this week’s sponsor:
Want To Work There, whose focus is practical, actionable advice for building better workplaces.
Each week this month, I'll be featuring one of their incredibly detailed, free resource guides.
First up, their free step-by-step guide to creating a Team Charter, which walks people managers through every aspect of establishing one with their team. Being intentional about norms and expectations is especially important for remote and hybrid teams and this tool will help you do just that.
